Overview

Holland Partner Group is seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join our Investment Management/Acquisitions Team.

 


We are seeking a team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional interpersonal skills, proven work ethic and follow through. The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

 

The Investment Associate works closety with the Investment Management Team to secure new property acquisitions and execute property dispositions in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.

  • Procure new acquisition business through both on market and off market channels in the Western U.S.
  • Work directly with equity partners to support company acquisition and asset management objectives.
  • Outline and oversee the execution of deal specific strategy from seller award through closing, transition and ultimate disposition/recapitalization.  
  • Interact and monitor accountability from support departments, Property Management, Redevelopment etc.
  • Monitor real estate portfolio results to compile reporting assessments, conclusions and strategies to Investors and Senior Management.
  • Provide financial analysis on a reoccurring basis to provide recommendations that support specific investment strategy goal achievement.
  • Responsible for compiling and updating Investor internal rate of returns projections in accordance with operating agreements.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required. Real estate background preferred.

Experience: Minimum three years’ experience in finance, acquisitions, accounting, development, property management or asset management required.

  • Proficient knowledge of the computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.
  • Ability to understand and clearly explain legal documents.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.

Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.

This position also requires:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Travel and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
