The Financial Operations Analyst functions within the Property Operations support team to provide extensive analysis and support company business objectives in accordance with Holland Partner Group's core values.

  • Maintain, update, coordinate and manage the list of projects assigned to the Property Operations support team (including ad hoc analysis, projects and ongoing field support for information).
  • Create, maintain and evaluate financial and statistical models used to support operational decisions including and not limited to the Operational Dashboard and modeling for rolling forecast and Revenue Models.
  • Prepare and routinely update operations business plans and strategies for Holland properties.
  • Research and prepare reports on market and economic/demographic data.
  • Monitor Operational KPI's and recommend potential actions for solution.
  • Maintain and update property budget and forecast models for annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Director and Vice President Financial Operations for the monthly operational financial reviews.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all staff to ensure excellent inside customer service.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a positive and professional manner at all times.
    Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.


Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field required.  Advanced degree preferred. 


Experience:  Three to five years' experience in a financial reporting or accounting role required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Advanced level of analytic skills and modeling.
  • Ability to teach and train non-technical peers on data inputs and assumptions of created data models.
  • Proven experience with data and analysis with the ability to "tell the story" with data.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze key aspects of financial and operational performance.
  • Understanding of tabular driven data models, preferred not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and other visual business intelligence tools experience preferred, not required.
  • Exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Demonstrated personal skills with the ability to interact with different layers of the organization on an ongoing basis. 

Attendance: This is a full time exempt position which requires you to be present and available during business hours to meet the needs of your team and the Company.  This exempt position is not eligible for overtime, however on occasion, a flexible schedule may be required.


This position also requires:

  • Travel and overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Flexibility in days and hours worked.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
