Overview

Holland Partner Group is seeking a Development Intern to join our Development Team.

 


We are seeking a team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional interpersonal skills, proven work ethic and follow through. The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform financial analysis for development projects as requested
  • Assist with project due diligence and help evaluate the property and its development potential
  • Assist with the identification of risk during project due diligence 
  • Assist with market analysis of demographics, market demand, and competition
  • Assist in the preparation of project proformas and detailed budgets
  • Assemble financing packages and information as requested
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of collateral materials
  • Assist with project reporting tasks for specified projects 
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Holland Construction team on assigned projects
  • Participate in project positioning, branding, and product development discussions
  • Participate in discussions regard project floor plans, amenities and design elements
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and budget updates as required
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all staff to ensure excellent inside customer service
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a positive and professional manner at all times
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible

 

Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in real estate, business, architecture, economics, finance or related field. Master’s Degree in real estate development or finance, architecture, business, or engineering preferred. May be currently enrolled in school to obtain degree (junior year status at minimum).

 

Experience: One year of related experience in real estate development, construction administration or real estate related business is desired.

  • Ability to read and comprehend legal contracts and financial documents
  • Resourcefulness and ability to focus on research projects and information compilation 
  • Proficiency in real estate financial analysis
  • Ability to work effectively with other Holland personnel and outside consultants
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex operating environment
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Strong customer service orientation

 

 

Attendance:  This position requires ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.  Flexible schedule may be required. 

 

This position also requires:

 

  • Flexibility in days and hours worked
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to a minimum of 20lbs
  • Valid Driver’s License
