    The Director of Construction Technology is responsible for the technological transformation that gives Holland Partner Group the ability to execute construction projects more efficiently, while delivering high quality results, increasing overall business profitability, and making our developments stand out in the industry. The Director of Construction Technology shall be responsible for developing, managing, and communicating a construction technology strategy, specific goals, and an evolving roadmap with all impacted business units in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.


     We are seeking a team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow through. The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.


    • Evaluate building technologies and methodologies i.e. future-proofing, Smart Units, Cell Boosting, VDC, VR, etc.…and develop a roadmap to test and implement based on Holland Partner Group’s desires to incorporate new technology into current and upcoming developments.
    • Develop best practices surrounding the technology of back-office, digital collaboration, and field execution, and ensure expectations are clearly communicated to project teams. Be a resource for project teams.
    • Plan and manage the company-wide implementation of Procore Technologies as a collaborative project delivery platform. Ensure proper training resources and plans are in place for the successful implementation. Communicate the plan and importance of adoption to effected team members. Manage and track the success of the implementation. Report the status and effectiveness of the implementation plan to stakeholders.
    • In coordination with the Training Team, evaluate and ensure proper training and adoption are in place for all software and systems used by the Construction Business Unit. Develop training materials and implement training plans.
    • Aid in the coordination of building technology with consultants and project teams. Track and participate with the commissioning of building technology to ensure a smooth turnover.
    • Develop and strengthen innovation team relationships with Development, Construction, Residential Management, Redevelopment, and Investments.
    • Develop technology governance practices in partnership with all business units.
    • Engage full teams with Holland Partner Group culture and drive open communication throughout the organization.
    • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
    • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
    • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.


    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management required.

    Experience: At least 10 years of relevant construction experience, and 5 years in technology. Consult with large cross-functional teams across a variety of business units required, with direct and indirect management of cross-functional teams with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience with real estate development and/or property management a plus.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives across a large group of cross-functional teams and internal/external partners.
    • Proven track record aligning and influencing key stakeholders across the organization.
    • Strong problem solver with ability to leverage analytics and consumer knowledge to identify opportunities.
    • Possess a high level of curiosity about upcoming technology with a focus on how technologies can benefit Holland.
    • Knowledge of smart units/homes/buildings/cities technology a plus.
    • Must understand Holland company structure and lead with a passion for making all business units successful through innovation.
    • Ability to maneuver between high-level strategic thinking and detailed project work.
    • Ability to approach existing and newly implemented technology with a continual improvement approach.

    Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required. 


    This position also requires:

    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Travel and overnight stays.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
    • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
    • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
