Overview

The Sales Support Manager works closely with the Director of Sales and the Sales Team and is responsible for establishing a strong and consistent point of sale process across the company and conducting set planning for new developments as well as acquisition takeover management, in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.


We are looking to for a team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow through. The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Sales audits across the portfolio and provide instruction for improvements to drive success and ensure processes are being followed consistently.
  • Manage and support the Point of Sales process to ensure compliance with the program including associate sales certifications and daily huddles. 
  • Work with the Training and Sales teams to communicate any additional sales training needed for the team/associate to be successful in the Point of Sale process.
  • Create and maintain a renewal program that ensures teams are following Key Performance Indicators and optimizing performance.
  • Perform audits and reviews of sales and rentable income at a site level and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with transitioning properties and work with the Sales Team to generate sales tools.
  • Support and participate in various leasing programs to ensure property success.
  • Review the Perfect Sales Presentation, SWOTS, Tour Decks, Goal Boards, lead management, vacant units, models, office areas, etc. and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Review Associate housing leases and discounts to ensure compliance with policy and applicable state and local laws.
  • Assist with the Due Diligence process in conjunction with the Acquisition Team.
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing practices, and Landlord Tennant laws.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree or related coursework is preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of proven sales experience including demonstrated success with Holland sales floor management and experience training new associates on-site. Must have experience communicating with investment partners and senior leadership team members. Audit experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales, statistical and financial data and make recommendations.
  • Analytical ability necessary to handle moderately complex administrative details.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Independent decision-making ability.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of sales tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates.
  • Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to develop positive rapport.
  • Ability to understand and clearly explain legal documents.
  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality with sensitive and personal information.
  • Demonstrated skill of time management and priority focus.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Yardi software preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.

Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.

This position also requires:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally.
