Overview

Holland Partner Group is seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to join our Development team.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Development Coordinator provides support to the Development team as required in the acquisition, entitlement and construction of projects in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s core values.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate and prepare collateral materials, monthly reports and presentations for project reporting and marketing, investor meetings, brokerage meetings, city or municipal approvals, and transaction activity with direction from team leaders.
  • Provide analytical support and day to day coordination of tasks for the development team.
  • Assist with market evaluation and analysis of demographics, market demand, and competition.
  • Assist with tasks relating to the entitlement and permitting process, including preparing and submitting applicable materials under the direction of team leaders.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents relating to development, including easements, leases, and closing documentation.
  • Assist with coordination of vendors in vendor management system (Compliance Depot).
  • Provide support as necessary during deal acquisitions, dispositions and financing.
  • Maintain thorough and systematic knowledge of each project through daily contact with Construction, Design, and Development teams during the transaction process ensuring completion of all critical tasks related to the specific deal.
  • Provide support to the team regarding legal notices, due dates, documents, closing dates, reporting, filing, and the process to initiate professional contracts for development services.
  • Interface with Accounting on project budget and cost documentation.
  • Assist with maintenance of online databases (RCM/Sharepoint).
  • Provide support in coordinating events, project tours, meetings, and ground breaking ceremonies.
  • Organize electronic and paper files that document all transactions and decisions.
  • Collect, organize, and provide information to project team relative to due diligence and project financing as required.
  • Coordinate and interface with third parties to help resolve various questions that may arise.
  • Coordinate and review monthly draw packages with project management and accounting.
  • Assist with project positioning, branding, and product development including floor plans, specifications, and amenities.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

 

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business or a related field is preferred.

 

Experience: One to two years’ experience related to real estate development, construction administration or brokerage is required. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe or Bluebeam.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 65 words per minute accurately.
  • Ability to use office equipment, such as computer, calculator, copier, and scanner, etc.
  • Ability to effectively work with people and direct personnel in various disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to proofread and perform detailed tasks.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be personable, persistent, diplomatic and organized.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, responsible and resourceful.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

 

Attendance: This full-time position requires the ability to work between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours or overtime may be required.

 

This position also requires:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • May require individuals to furnish their own vehicle to transport customers, tools and/or supplies to and from the office and assigned project(s).
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
