    The Vice President, Furnished Housing is responsible for building and managing the strategy for the Furnished Living program across the company portfolio in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Manage and support the overall success of the furnished housing program.
    • Devise, implement, and modify as needed furnished housing strategies and programs that align with and support the strategic goals of ownership and senior management.
    • Evaluate furnished housing opportunities within the portfolio to maximize revenue opportunities in partnership with Senior Leadership.
    • Provide leadership to ensure that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies, and values are developed and maintained to meet business goals and objectives.
    • Advise senior leadership and make recommendations based on applicable market trends and methods to drive the continued success of the furnished housing program. 
    • Identify prospects to develop into clients and maintain relationships at the highest levels.
    • Develop and manage successful sales strategy for key business accounts.
    • Oversee and champion the furnished housing program in partnership with the SVP, Property Operations. 
    • Network and participate in local professional organizations within key industries.
    • Build and develop lead generation strategy.
    • Conduct group tours and provide leasing information for corporate providers.
    • Partner with vendors to price, procure and install furniture to ensure furnished units are setup and maintained to set standards.
    • Review Competitive Market Analysis for furnished housing programs in the market and make recommendations for continued improvement.
    • Regularly follow up, inspect and manage relationships through the lead management platform.
    • Participate in pricing and owner calls, and lead investor tours providing informed and professional information as requested.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
    • Participate in market surveys, quarterly competitive market assessments and outreach marketing activities to support the success of Holland and the furnished housing program.
    • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
    • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.
    • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

     

    Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.   Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or related field strongly preferred.

     

    Experience:  Five years’ experience in management operations, sales, or related field required.  Retail experience is preferred.  

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Financial understanding and ability to formulate and execute strategies based on property data.

    • Ability to think critically and creatively and exercise sound judgement.
    • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.   Yardi software preferred.
    • Strong service and solution orientation with a proven results-driven track record.
    • Ability to maintain a level of integrity, honesty and respect for others.
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.

     

    Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs.  Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.

     

    This position also requires:

    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Travel and overnight stays.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
    • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
    • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
