    Holland Partner Group is seeking an experienced Site Coordinator to join our Construction Team.

    Job Summary:


    This position assists in project construction by completing duties within the project as assigned by the General Superintendent /Project Superintendent teams.  This is an entry level position intended  to develop over time into a design build Superintendent’s position  through participation, collaboration with the project staff  and  training to be provided.



    Essential Job Functions: The incumbent performs the following tasks, which yields experience in the field side of the projects:

    Office- Observe and participate as requested in:

    • Scheduling
    • The generation and tracking of RFI’s
    • Change order pricing and field bulletin pricing
    • Drawing log maintenance
    • Updating contract drawings with field bulletins and RFI’s
    • Generation and administration of project close out documents
    • Contract and Shop drawing review
    • Tracking of material and fabrication delivery dates
    • Attend safety and subcontractor coordination meetings
    • Create, maintain and properly file daily logs

    Field - Takes a responsible role as directed:

    • The main focus of this position early in the project will be the scheduling, documenting and coordination of deliveries to the staging area, tower crane and the man / material lift with the project subcontractors. The incumbent will maintain close communication with the projects superintendents to understand project priorities and   flow. There can be no favoritism developed between subcontractors in this role.
    • Track material procurement and delivery dates until materials are delivered to the field.
    • Assist Superintendent with daily tasks as requested and as time allows with delivery scheduling.
    • Assist with Coordination of subcontractors.
    • As demand reduces for delivery scheduling (the tower crane and man / material lift are removed from the project) coordinate deliveries to staging area and construction use of project elevators.
    • Assume a role in the execution of interior finishes, quality control and punch list processes for the building as may be directed by the Superintendent.
    • Direct and manage Holland field labor forces or temporary labor as may be assigned by the Superintendent.

    Throughout the project duration:


    A.        Perform safety-related activities to ensure project compliance to OSHA and applicable State Agency regulations and local requirements and ordinances.                                                         

    • Check for any local requirements or ordinances for jobsite conditions as directed by supervisor.
    • Make out weekly jobsite safety inspections to ensure that jobsite conforms to company safety standards.
    • Monitor jobsite safety and report difficulties that arise to Superintendent.
    • Ensure that OSHA and applicable State Agency field insurance forms are properly filled out and posted, filed, or turned in to office as appropriate.  

    B.         Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that project proceeds in a quality timely and cost effective manner.

    • Participate in some client contact with others.
    • Monitor jobsite for company or subcontractor problems and inform Superintendent.

    C.         Participate in purchasing materials for jobsite.

    • Assist in writing purchase orders and gathering information for change orders with Superintendent’s direction.
    • Negotiate, write, and initial purchase orders for Superintendent’s signature as directed.



    Education:  High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor Degree strongly preferred. 


    Experience:  Three to five years supervisory (foreman, general foreman, etc.) experience is preferred and design-build experience is helpful. Construction experience in concrete, wood / steel stud framing, drywall and structural steel erection are preferred.

    • Ability to solve problems, and use available resources is required
    • Must be honest and prepared to work in a team environment
    • Proficient in MS Suite, specifically MS Word and MS Excel


    Additional requirements:

    • Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 20lbs
    • Flexibility in days and hours worked
    • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
    • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
    • Computer literacy
    • Valid Driver’s License

    Working conditions:


    This position is takes place in a construction environment that involves hazardous work conditions requiring protective equipment and training that conforms to OSHA and applicable State Agency regulations. Some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, and noise may occur.
