Overview

Salary range: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour.

Work location: Not remote; Vancouver, WA

 

Holland is seeking a driven and team-oriented individual with an interest in technology systems and networks to join our dedicated team as a Technology Support Coordinator. The Technology Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the support for building technology systems and networks across the entire portfolio of Holland-managed multifamily apartment buildings. This service-oriented role works with internal building management teams, IT teams, and external building system vendors in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, prioritize, and work a queue of service tickets for building technology system incidents and service requests.
  • Assess incident/request root cause and determine the best solution or plan of action.
  • Drive incident resolution and execution of action plans through consistent tracking and communication.
  • Communicate status of incidents/requests to all relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and technical vendors/partners, including support/troubleshooting discussions and activities.
  • Coordinate, schedule, support, and provide detailed scope of work information for building technology support activities.
  • Gather additional information, context, and requirements from incident/request stakeholders.
  • Engage and coordinate with appropriate vendors/partners to provide services.
  • Reference and maintain building technology documentation, including a list of critical building system information and technology support vendors.
  • Support the transition of building technology as properties enter and leave the Holland portfolio.
  • Establish a sincere and credible relationship with all stakeholders including but not limited to internal business unit customers, partners, vendors, outsourced technology service providers, team members, etc.
  • Complete project-based work related to building technology systems.
  • Gather vendor proposals and review for accuracy and completeness. Present proposals to stakeholders for approval.
  • Follow internal service management best practices and procedures.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree or coursework in a related field is strongly preferred.

 

Experience: Minimum of two years’ previous experience coordinating and/or assisting technical teams required.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize competing demands and execute tasks in a fast-paced operating environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technical concepts, especially related to networking, technology systems, and telecommunications.
  • Demonstrated high-level of skill in both verbal and written communication, including ability to convey technical issues to non-technical individuals.

  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, responsible, and resourceful.
  • Ability to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of tools.

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and follow directions accurately.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Attendance: This full-time position requires the ability to work between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours or overtime may be required.

 

This position also requires:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Travel and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
